The Monarch Machine Tool traces its history back over 100 years. They began by first manufacturing belt-driven metalcutting lathes in Sidney, Ohio, in 1909. Since then, they've been setting the pace in the metalworking industry. In the 1930's they designed the first contour cutting machines followed by introducing the first American-built numerically-controlled lathes at the 1955 Chicago Machine Tool Exposition. Today, they provide machines for all metalcutting requirements including vertical and horizontal machining centers and bridge/gantry/traveling column machines.
The Monarch Machine Tool Company, currently located in Cortland, NY, offers a full line of metalworking equipment from their MH-500 Machining Center to their TM-1250, a large, multifunctional machine of turning, milling, drilling, tapping, and grinding of large piece parts. They are built for precision and accuracy, and as such, maintain their value for many years. In addition, they also offer solutions for refurbishing their used machines.
