Used Moore Machines
Machinesused.com is an online auction that buys and sells used Moore machines.
Richard F. Moore founded Moore Tool Company in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in 1924. Originally, Moore began the company as a tool and die shop. However, after realizing that the machinery he need for working to close tolerances did not exist, he developed his own jig borer using what became known as the "Moore lead screw and double-vee construction." In the 1940's, jig grinders were added to grind the hardened steel components.
Moore Tool Company manufactures high precision, fully automated CNC Continuous Path jig grinders with a full line of machine accessories including rotary tables, grinding spindles, setup tooling, flood coolant enclosures, wheel dressing and fixturing, and advanced sensor-based process monitoring systems. They specialize in manufacturing tooling equipment for the food packaging, metal stamping, and plastics forming industries as well as aerospace and defense.
Since our inventory of used Moore machines changes daily, if you do not see the machine you need in our current inventory, let us know, and we will work to find it for you. If we do have the machine you are interested in, contact us for information or request a quote.
